“Is this fish actually fresh?” That was the question that started Fat Fish. Living in Kathmandu, we were tired of the uncertainty at local markets. We wanted local fish and seafood that was safe, clean, and accessible.

Fat Fish was founded by young entrepreneurs who saw a gap in Nepal’s fish market. Too many health-conscious, non-vegetarian customers were confused by pricing, quality, and myths about fish consumption.

We believe fish is one of the healthiest foods you can eat  that are rich in Omega-3, protein, iron, and essential vitamins. Yet, access to fresh, fairly priced, and well-explained options was limited.

So we decided to go direct-to-customer. No middlemen. No confusion. Just honest fish, clear pricing, and a mission to help Nepali families eat better every day.
